Hon. Kobena Mensah Woyome undertakes annual donation of mathematical sets to BECE candidates ahead of 2023 BECE -PHOTOS

South Tongu member of parliament Hon. Kobena Mensah Woyome has once again supplied fresh mathematical sets to all BECE candidates in his constituency ahead of their exams this Monday 7th August 2023.

The law maker has been doing this every year since being elected into office in 2008. This year’s number has reduced to over 2000 candidates as compared to last year (over 3,000).

In a brief speech, the law maker who also doubles as ranking member for sports committee lauded the teachers for their amazing work in the constituency ensuring students come out in flying colors during exams. In a statement released by South Tongu NDC coommunication beareu, it was stated also that he gave out a cash amount of Ghs1,000 to support the occasion.

THE COMMUNICATION OFFICER OF NDC- SOUTH TONGU CONSTITUENCY

The Member of Parliament for South Tongu - Hon. Kobena Mensah Woyome donated about 2000 mathematical Seth to the District Directorate on Wednesday, 2nd August 2023.
This gesture of the Hon. Member of Parliament, is in line with his many social responsibilities to complement both Ghana Education Service and the parents on yearly basis by way of providing the final year B.E.C.E. candidates mathematical Sets which took place at the district assembly hall yesterday.



He applauded, encouraged workers at the Education Directorate and all headteachers present to do the needful for the successful end of the students.



He also supported the exercise with Gh¢1000.00 for refreshment through the Directorate.



The Member of Parliament was accompanied by NDC South Tongu Constituency Executives.
