Executive Producer of Ghana’s biggest morning sports show on Asempa FM, Ultimate Sports Show, Mrs. Mavis Amanor Avornyo has rubbished claims that she has had an intimate relationship with Blackstars player Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu.

In an interview with Stacy Amoateng on restoration, the award-winning female sports journalist unequivocally combats the allegations, claiming she is being unjustly dragged into the spotlight despite a purely platonic friendship with the footballer.

According to the Award-winning sports journalist, at no time, were there any romantic feelings or implications between her and Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu; this was simply a platonic relationship with a friendship of admiration and respect.

The award-winning sports journalist said, former Blackstars player Agyemang-Badu is a very good family friend and a brother, my mum calls him son due to his respect for all and after his sterling performance for the black satellite during the 2009 world cup that Ghana won.

She indicated that, as a sports journalist or producer, you need to have connections and a good relationship with all sports personalities to be able to get them for a good content production.

The world of sports journalism is a constantly changing landscape, filled with breaking news and high-profile interviews. However, the host of Ladies Time on Asempa fm says you need these guys for your content devoid of any amorous relationship.
