NDC’s Terminal 3 has paid majority of its debt through the revenue generated - Hon Kobena Mensah Woyome


Speaking on the Day 2 of his thank you tour and town hall meeting at Nutekpor in the South Tongu constituency on Saturday 21st January 2023, Hon Kobena Mensah Woyome stated the impact of projects the NDC did during their tenure in office.


The lawmaker lamented the abysmal performance of the current government leading to unfinished projects around the country. He also outlined the key steps the NPP has taken to send this country bankrupt and the way the finance minister is handling the economy by borrowing excessively.

Hon. Kobena Mensah Woyome clarified that “the NDC used their borrowings to undertake infrastructure that are generating revenues across the country. The Terminal 3 is a clear example of such project and is just one of many. It has chunked off majority of it's debts.

It was reported that 273 million dollars were spent on the terminal 3 by the John Mahama-led administration.

In 2018 alone, it served 2.8 million passengers and further increased to 3 million in 2019 which was a record only to be reduced again to 2.1 million in 2021. The facility has also beautify the airport making passengers fall in love the first time of arriving in Ghana.
