PHOTOS: Comrade Precious Agbenya supports Akosombo Dam spillage victims

South Tongu Political activist Precious Agbenya donated some items to some victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage.


The items toothbrush, toothpaste, sanitary pad, mosquito coil, bathing soap, washing powder, toilet roll etc. The Akosombo Dam spillage has caused a displacement among some citizens in South Tongu and other constituencies in the Volta Region.

In North Tongu alone, over 13, 000 people got their homes and properties destroyed by the spillage. Though individuals and corporate entities are trooping in to support the affected victims, the lost of lives and properties cannot be replaced as things have slowed.


In South Tongu a few weeks ago, it was reported and circulated widely the unavailability of fund to distribute some relief item’s received from well wishers. This generated series of conversations as to what the assembly is doing to the aid the burden on the affected victims.

Comrade Precious Agbenya’s donation to people at Comboni and the Islamic school at Toklokpo emphasizes his commitment to humanity and community growth.
