The NPP's Indifference Towards the Volta Region is a wake-up call to us all - Precious Agbenya

Recent events have shed light on the true colors of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its leadership, particularly with regards to their treatment of our beloved Volta region. It is time for us to unite, raise our voices, and make a resounding statement in the upcoming 2024 elections.

We all remember when H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the President of the Republic of Ghana and leader of the NPP, visited our land. Instead of addressing the legitimate concerns of our people, he callously declared that because we don't vote for him, we don't deserve assistance. Such words reflect an appalling lack of empathy and disregard for the well-being of us as Ewes.

While President Akufo-Addo boasts of transforming the Akyem land into a beautiful paradise, we are left wondering why our region, rich in culture and potential, has been neglected. The Volta region, with its natural resources and vibrant communities, deserves equal attention and development. It is disheartening to realize that our exclusion from progress is not due to a lack of resources, but rather a lack of political will.

I implore every Ewe, regardless of political affiliation, to stand united against President Akufo-Addo's candidate and the presumed leader of the NPP, Dr. Bawumia, in the upcoming 2024 elections. This is our opportunity to send a strong message that we will not be ignored or mistreated any further. Together, we can ensure that the NPP pays attention to the Volta region and takes our concerns seriously.

Let us campaign tirelessly, spreading awareness among our fellow Ewes about the NPP's indifference towards our region. Let us educate others about the need to vote for a candidate who will prioritize our well-being, development, and aspirations.
