“You can't ask for cash in place of government’s given V8” - Woyome schools fellow candidates

Hon. Kobena Mensah Woyome has cleared the air again on dirty lies spread by his opponents during campaign ahead of the primaries on May 13th.

Speaking on Sela radio on Friday evening, the Member of Parliament was asked whether it is possible to refuse the government-given V8 for money to do developmental projects.

The question which came from one caller emphasized that some candidates are telling delegates they will tell government to exchange their V8 with cash. According to the MP, there are contracts binding such vehicles which is being paid for by the MPS. “It is impossible to reject the V8 in exchange for money. More importantly, these V8 come with conditions hence decision cannot he taken by an individual to object it”

The V8 given to government officials is to help their movement to and from the constituency all the time. It is also to guarantee their safety during their rounds.

The clarification given by Hon. Woyome suggests his contenders have a lot to learn hence must submit themselves for education on the some of these petty things.
