I Make GH¢12,000.00 Monthly as a Cleaner in Spain But I Still Want to Leave – Ghanaian Man

George Kofi Bondzie, a young Ghanaian living in Spain, told DJ Nyaami on the SVTV Africa YouTube channel that despite the comparatively high salaries he receives there, he genuinely wants to return to Ghana.

George claims to be a cleaner in a slaughterhouse in Spain, earning €1,200 (US$12,610) per month. However, he claims that this does not meet his needs, and he would dearly love to return to his home country.

The young man provided more details about his journey, stating that he had initially traveled from Ghana to Italy and then on to Spain.

He continued by saying that he didn't have the required documents, so he joined his father who was already there and stayed with him for two years until finding employment.

He eventually wed a Spanish woman, through which he was able to acquire the appropriate paperwork to start working.

He claims to have spent six years living abroad, yet only two of those years were spent working full-time.

George hinted that he would still prefer to leave because of the stress involved, even though it would be more financially advantageous to live abroad.
