Lady Burns Her Boyfriend To Death For Allegedly Cheating

A woman has been taken into custody because she allegedly set fire to her boyfriend and her cousin when she found out they were seeing each other behind her back. The crime happened in Uganda, in the city of Kampala.

Suzan Kaitesi, who is 24, is thought to have killed her boyfriend and her cousin by locking them in the bedroom of her apartment and setting it on fire.
The deaths of Patricia Arinda and her boyfriend, Kajumba, are being called a "love triangle" by the police.

Reports say that the suspect ran away from the scene and yelled that there had been a gas explosion.

But when the neighbors and the rescue team got there, the bedroom was locked. When they went into the room, they saw two dead bodies. The keys to the bedroom had been taken, but the gas stove was still there.

The event happened on January 12, 2023, in the Nabweru Kawempe Division of the Jinja Karoli Kawempe Zone "A" Ward in the Kampala District.

Mr. Luke Owoyesigyire, the deputy spokesman for the Kampala Metropolitan Police, confirmed the event on January 15, 2023.

He also said that a female suspect had been caught and that murder was being held as a temporary charge while the investigation continued.

Fire did a lot of damage to the apartment of Ms. Grace Sanyu, who owns a business and lives in Kawempe Division. This is what police have found so far.
Mr. Owoyesigyire says that Suzan Kaitesi rented and lived in the two-bedroom apartment for 24 years.

Kaitesi reportedly told the police that her cousin Patricia Arinda, 24, and her friend Kajumba, 27, came to her house that morning and that the fire started in the evening while they were still there.
Mr. Owoyesigyire said that even though the Kampala Metropolitan North Regional Fire Department responded quickly to the call for help, two people had already died by the time the fire was put out.

The things that witnesses said were put on tape. He said that Kaitesi Susan was first taken to a clinic for treatment. From there, she was moved to Kawempe Hospital for more care, and then she was let go and questioned by police.
