Man In Critical Condition After Alleged Jealous Man Inflict Cutlass Wounds On Him

Residents of Assin Anwiasu in the Assin North district of the Central Region are shocked and amazed that a 39-year-old man was randomly cut with a cutlass by a man who is said to be jealous.

Eyewitnesses told Rich FM and Angel FM/TV reporter Kwame Owusu Asante Shadrack that they heard the victim screaming for help in his room around 9:30 pm on Tuesday, after he got home from work and was getting ready for bed.

They rushed to the scene and found the victim lying in a pool of blood with his wrist and some fingers cut off and deep cuts on his head, cheek, and back.

Then, he was rushed to St. Francis Xavier Hospital in Assin Fosu, where he got care in an intensive care unit. People say that the person who died was married and had three children.

Even though the person who did it hasn't been found yet, the locals think it was Fiifi, a jealous man who has been fighting with the victim over ownership of the victim's last-born child for a long time.

Reports said that the suspect said he had sex with the victim's wife during their relationship, which led to the birth of the child.

Nana Yaw Kwanning Ababio, the chief of Assin Anwiasu, confirmed this in an interview with Shadrack. He said that they had told the victim to tell the police about that problem before, so they weren't afraid of what would happen.
