Meet The African Tribe That Offers Sex To Visitors

People from the Ovahimba and Ovazimba tribes who live in the Kunene and Omusati regions of Northern Namibia have kept their culture even though the west has tried to change it.

People live there, and there are more than 50,000 of them. Every day, the women milk their cows, take care of the children, and do many other things while the men go hunting, sometimes for a long time. How rich these nomads are is based on how many cattle they have. The Himba are a polygamous people, and once girls reach puberty, their fathers marry them off to men they have chosen.

You can't look past the fact that their skin is red. The red color on their skin is called otjize paste. It is made of butterfat, omuzumba scrub, and ochre, and its purpose is to protect their skin from the sun and bug bites. They also follow the idea that the color red represents "Earth and blood." Instead of taking baths, the women smoke and put fragrant resins on their skin.

Give respect to the people who deserve it: In this tribe, this saying is used in a different way. When a guest comes to the door, a man gives him the Okujepisa Omukazendu treatment to show that he likes him and is happy to see him. This means that the guest spends the night with the host's wife while the host sleeps in another room. If there aren't any rooms left, her husband will sleep outside.

This old tradition has "benefits" for the community: it makes people less jealous and helps them get along better with each other. The woman has little or no say in how things are decided. First and foremost, she must do what her husband wants. She can refuse to sleep with him, but she still has to share a room with the guest.

She can also give her husband her friends when they come to visit, but this doesn't happen very often.
