Thief Electrocuted After Attempt To Steal From Store At Fadama

A thief met his end when he tried to steal from a container store at night in Accra's Fadama neighborhood and got killed by strong electric shocks.

It's not clear how the thief got into the shop, but the owner and locals were shocked to find the thief's body hanging from the ceiling this morning, with his legs inside the store and his head and hands outside.

Eyewitnesses say he may have broken into the store, but he was very unlucky on his way out because he got caught in live electric wires that ran through the store's ceiling and died.

The thief hasn't been caught, and neither has the shop owner. At the time this report was written, the dead body was still hanging in the store, which means that law enforcement either hasn't heard about what happened or has heard about it but hasn't come to get the body yet.
