"This Is The 3rd Person We Will Lure Into A Room & Strangle To Death For Money Ritual" - Suspects

Men from the Obalende Divisional Police Headquarters in Ijebu-Ode caught some suspects after Omolara Ojo told them about the death of Oyindamola Adeyemi, who was the girlfriend of one of the suspects and was 27 years old.

After they were caught, the suspects said, "This is the third person we will lure into a room and strangle to death (for a money ritual)." Superintendent of Police Abimbola Oyeyemi, who is in charge of public relations for the police in Ogun state, said that the suspects already have buyers lined up to buy the body parts of their victims.

In a report from the Daily Post Nigeria, the PPRO said that the patrol team from the Obalende division found the dismembered body of the deceased on the side of the road while they were on duty.

After the body was brought to the mortuary near where it was found, a worker told the dead person's friend, who confirmed that the body was that of her missing friend.

Later, Murphy Salami, the Divisional Police Officer of Obalende, put together a team of detectives who started an investigation based on information they had gathered. This led to the arrest of the herbalist and all the other suspects.

The suspects made it clear that they sold the woman's body parts right after they killed her. After they were shown to the public, the state's police chief told them to go to the state's Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for more questions and possible punishment.
