During a live crusade in Amsterdam, Holland, Apostle Johnson Suleman, who is the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, warns Christians not to love money.
He says that the church needs to get up and do something. That's why there isn't any prosperity, because materialism isn't the answer. When you try to get material things, they fly away. If the church wants real wealth, they should seek God.
"Did you know that there isn't a born-again Christian in the top 30 richest people in the world?" He asked why, and the answer was that Christians are known for being materialistic and wanting things.
He then read 1 John 2:15, which says, "Do not love the world or the things in the world." If a person loves the world, he does not love the Father. For everything in the world, including the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not from the Father, but from the world.
