Catherine Afeku Dismisses Abandonment Reports, Affirms Support For Alan Kyerematen

Mr. Joseph Yammin, the National Organiser of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has defined the apparent interest in the Cecilia Dapaah stolen money saga as a ruse that is not intended to produce substantive results.

After receiving over 200 petitions, the office of the Special Prosecutor took an interest in the matter and has since arrested and granted parole to the former Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources for further interrogation.

"The detention of Cecelia Dapaah by the Special Prosecutor is a ruse; have they invited Samuel Jinapor? His home and assets were also destroyed; have they invited him as well? He inquired, "Have you heard that the OSP invited him to ask him why so much money burned in his home?"

"In other countries, Cecilia Dapaah would be incarcerated and undergoing thorough investigations by now," When they apprehend ordinary citizens, they claim to be investigating you for prosecution. There will be a minimum stay of two days. He retorted, "What kind of investigation is that? Cecilia Dapaah simply went in, wrote her statement, and was sent on her way."

"She ought to have been detained in order to prevent her from influencing the investigations. He pondered, "Why won't they release her when the president has already cleared her and stated that he knows she will be cleared in the end?"

"The president has just warned the OSP about the outcome of the woman's case, my friend. Just read the acceptance letter and it will become apparent what will occur. I am telling you," said Yammin.
