Mabel Okyere, a Ghanaian singer, has stated that she contemplated leaving the music industry due to her frustrations.

In an interview with Amansan Krakye, the gospel musician stated that just as she was contemplating quitting, God blessed her career with a viral success song.

Mabel Okyere announced on Cape Coast's Property FM's showbiz programme that she has reversed her decision to resign from music.

She responded, "Oh, yes, I almost quit my gospel music job so that I could retire. This is very true."

She emphasised, "Now that I have reversed my decision to retire from active gospel music, I am back in the scene with full vigour."
