Pentecost Pastor Chides Captain For Attacking Bible, Jesus And Pentecost Church

A Pastor from The Church of Pentecost has criticised Onua Maakye's captain Smart for his constant attacks against Christianity, Jesus Christ, the Bible, and the Church.

In Pastor William Boachie-Ansah's first article, he rhetorically questioned whether Captain Smart is intelligent, adding that his denial of Christianity, followed by the revelation of his concealed ills and unpopularity, should serve as a wake-up call.

When I first heard about him, I was informed that he was an Elder in my congregation. I appreciated his intonation. I appreciated the gentlemanly manner in which he expressed his ideas. He would cite the Bible to defend the moral foundation of the majority of his concerns. And numerous church members liked him. He rose to prominence due to the church....

Eventually, he began to remove some of the Church insignia he was wearing. He ceased proclaiming his membership in the Church of Pentecost. He ceased to reference God and Jesus in his writings. Then we began to hear about his controversial relationships with certain women. Then we learned that some women were accusing him on social media of taking their money and promising to marry them...

And now, the Captain Smart we see and hear on the radio and social media is an entirely different individual.

Recently, he was heard advising youth to cease attending church on Sundays and instead work to earn money.

Non-Christians stepped forward to refute his arguments because Sunday is a public holiday with limited employment opportunities.

He intentionally published a performance evaluation letter of the Church of Pentecost in an attempt to have the public crucify the church for establishing financial goals and objectives. Corporate people, some of whom were not Christians, defended the church on the grounds that every organisation with a vision for positive development sets goals and investigates why they were not achieved...

I heard him say just last week that approximately 95% of the Bible is inaccurate. Now he's attacking the Bible...

The first fundamental belief of the Church of Pentecost, to which he professes allegiance, is as follows: "We believe in the divine inspiration and authority of the Holy Scriptures." We believe that the Bible is infallible in its proclamation, authoritative in its authority, all-sufficient in its provisions, and exhaustive in its sufficiency (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21).

Can this Smart still claim membership in the Church? It is now abundantly obvious that he has abandoned his faith in the Bible..
