After my divorce, things have not been easy for me - Basketmouth

Basketmouth, a Nigerian comedian, has disclosed that life has been difficult for him after his divorce this year, prompting him to step away from the comedy circuit.

During his performance at 1030 Laughs and Music, which was held earlier this week at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), Basketmouth, a comedian, spoke about his difficulties.

He made a joke about how, rather than looking older, he is wearing grey because he is dwelling too much on the negative events that have occurred in his life over the past several months.

"It is untrue that I have colored my hair, as most people believe. I've been overthinking things. Imagine that after twelve years of marriage, you are divorcing and everything you expected to go smoothly is not working out. I have not found it to be simple at all," he said.

Basketmouth also mentioned how wealthy musicians are by virtue of the songs they perform for their listeners, who then sing those same songs back to them live.

“ I would most likely stop doing comedic roles if I were paid like Wizkid, Burna Boy, or Davido. He remarked, "$2 million for just one is a big money."

When they took the stage, the Ghanaian group consisting of Lekzy Decomic, OB Amponsah, and Afia Barcelona did not let fans down.

When OB Amponsah mentioned that he drives a little automobile that is primarily used by Uber drivers, people often mistake him for one of the latter. This statement made everyone chuckle.

He states that customers who have ordered Uber trips will look up his number plate to see if he is their driver whenever he visits the mall and other public areas.

One day, a man truly unlocked the rear door of my car, got inside, and announced he was heading to Nungua.
