“Walter Magaya Is My Son”:Leaked Phone Call Between TB Joshua And A Zimbabwean Woman Raises Eyebrows

A leaked voice call between the late televangelist TB Joshua and a Zimbabwean woman who knows Walter Magaya has raised eyebrows.

TB Joshua, the founder of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) who died in 2021, has been under fire following the release of the BBC documentary Disciples: The Cult of TB Joshua.

In the documentary, former SCOAN disciples who worked closely with TB Joshua relived how some of them were raped and tortured by the famous preacher. Some chronicled how he forcefully took away their innocence when they were still underage.

The working environment at SCOAN was like a concentration camp, and they were “enslaved”, they said. When the disciples made mistakes, the man of God would thrash them until they bled.

One woman whom the Prophet inappropriately touched confided in a colleague. The colleague escalated and reported the issue, and a meeting was called. TB Joshua denied fondling the lady, and his security bashed her rot.

His daughter once confronted him in front of everyone about the rape cases, and he had her thrashed. TB Joshua allegedly got her locked away and tortured for months on end before banishing her.

Another male disciple alleged how the man of God performed rituals. He said he would take a fish from the sea, chop his beard and pubic hair, stuff it into the fish’s mouth and send it back to the waters.

The SCOAN leadership dismissed the allegations, saying they aren’t substantiated.

A leaked voice call posted in December 2023 is causing commotion online. In the call, TB Joshua spoke to a Zimbabwean woman.

The apprehensive lady initially wasn’t sure who she was speaking to. The late Nigerian Prophet then hinted that her spiritual father was his son. The lady also mentioned knowing Walter Magaya but could not recognise the caller.

The Zimbabwean woman later said the caller was TB Joshua, and he confirmed. The man of cloth invited her to Nigeria, but she was reluctant. She also revealed that Walter Magaya hardly calls her now, so it was strange that TB Joshua invited her to Nigeria instead.
