Abronye DC attributes current Ghanaian hardships to John Mahama’s poor decisions

Kwame Baffoe, also known as Abronye DC, a prominent member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is urging the youth of Ghana to hold John Dramani Mahama responsible for the current challenges the country is facing.

He asserts that many decisions made during Mahama’s presidency have negatively impacted the lives of Ghanaians, especially the youth.

Abronye DC points to the sale of the Tema Port during Mahama’s administration as an example. He emphasizes that the port was sold for a duration of 35 years, a decision that has had significant consequences for the country. He questions Mahama’s claims of caring about the youth while selling off vital national assets.

He highlights Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s efforts to rectify the situation by attempting to regain control of the port. However, the company that acquired the port demanded a substantial amount of money for its return. Abronye DC suggests that this situation is emblematic of the consequences of Mahama’s decisions, which have contributed to the country’s current financial challenges.

During an interview on Hello FM, he urged listeners to consider the impact of the decisions made during Mahama’s presidency, specifically mentioning the Tema Port sale, and to reflect on whether those decisions were beneficial for the people who elected him as President in 2013.

Abronye DC’s statements highlight the ongoing political discourse in Ghana, where different parties and factions hold differing views on the causes of the country’s challenges and who is responsible for them.
