Celebrities participating at the JulorbiHouse protest on day two

A number of well-known Ghanaians have joined the Occupy Julorbi House protest, which entered its second day on Thursday, September 21, 2023, the same day as Nkrumah's birthday, and is anticipated to last through Saturday. They have tagged various musicians to add their voices to the outcry against the protesters' rights to peaceful assembly and wrongful detention.

The protest, organized by the Fix the Country movement, aims to address the high cost of living and other issues in the country.

The initial day of the protest turned violent as the police attempted to disperse it forcefully, resulting in the arrest of ordinary citizens and even incidents of brutality against journalists like Bridget Otoo.

Nonetheless, the protest is persisting, with some celebrities confirming their attendance, including rapper E.L, comic actor and content creator SKDele, rapper Kwaw Kese, and Wanlov the Kubolor.

However, prominent figures like Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and Shatta Wale are opting to voice their support from the comfort of their homes through social media.
