Controller Payment of Salary and Wages Dates for 2024

Controller and Accountant-General's Department (CAGD)

The dates on which salaries and wages will be paid in 2024 have been announced by the Controller and Accountant General's Department (CAGD).

The Ghana Education Service (GES), all other public servants paid by the Controller and Accountant-Generals' Department, and civil servants' salaries and wages for 2024 will be paid on the dates listed below, according to a notice released by CAGD:

January – 22nd
February – 22nd
March – 26th
April – 25th
May – 27th
June – 27th
July – 25th
August – 27th
September – 26th
October – 24th
November – 25th
December – 19th
In addition, CAGD made it clear that various banks will start crediting the accounts of employees from the dates indicated above.

The CAGD stated, "Any modification to the aforementioned dates will be notified to the Ministries, Departments, Agencies, Assemblies, and respective Banks."
