Faila became emotional as Afua Asantewaa Aduonum stormed Tamale in support of her attempt to break the record for the longest cooking session in history.

Afua Asantewaa Aduonum invaded Tamale to help Faila in her bid to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking record.

After a demanding week of a sing-a-thon marathon, Afua, who was meant to be recovering, chose to accompany her colleague in putting Ghana on the map.

Chef Faila Abdul Razak of Ghana started a culinary marathon at the Hotel in Tamale, in the northern part of the country, on January 1, 2024.

With a few hours remaining, Failatu Abdul-Razak can officially break Hilda Baci's record as the Irish chef. She has already completed 72 hours.

Accepting this amazing challenge, Faila set out to beat the current record of 119 hours and 57 minutes by cooking for at least 120 hours.

In addition to exhibiting Chef Faila's culinary skills, this ambitious endeavor aims to establish a new benchmark in the culinary sector.

She's prepared a wide range of meals, including fufu with soup, tuo-zaafi with ayoyo soup, chicken and curry rice, and many more.
