Fuse Blowing Ghanaian prospect Jerome Opoku facing disciplinary actions at Arouca FC

The defender of Ghanaian heritage is set to incur the wrath of his employers in the Portuguese elite division campaigners after seeing his request move to suitors being declined this summer

English-born Ghanaian centre-back Jerome Opoku is facing disciplinary actions at Liga Portugal side Arouca FC, with his unsporting behaviour currently before the club's disciplinary committee.

The 24-year-old had wanted to force a move to suitors in the just shutted transfer window after confirming interest from Turkish top-flight outfit Istanbul Basaksehir over his services this term.

In a frustration moment for the former Fulham youth product, he took to his lnstagram page to spit venom on his current employers, saying " l have never seen such disgusting behavior from a club. Enough is enough."

This fuse blowing by the Ghanaian prospect has not gone down well with those in charge of affairs at the Estádio Municipal de Arouca and have initiated disciplinary proceedings against the 1.97m tall guardsman as per a bola.

Born and raised to Ghanaian parents living in England, Opoku still remains eligible to switch allegiance and play for Ghana on the international stage as he is yet to be capped by the England senior national team.
