Ghanaian forward Bernard Morrison seals move to Moroccan champions AS FAR Rabat

Ghanaian forward Bernard Morrison has sealed a move to Moroccan champions AS FAR Rabat on a free transfer, reuniting with former coach Nasreddine Nabi, Footballghana.com can report.

Nabi, who recently departed Tanzanian giants Young Africans SC to join FAR has added the Ghanaian attacker to team’s ranks.

The 30-year-old joins the club as a free agent after ending his stay with Young Africans. He was released by the Tanzanian giants after the 2022-23 season came to a close, making him a free agent.

Morrison signed a one-year contract with an option to extend for another year following a successful negotiation.

He made six appearances and scored once for Young Africans in their CAF Confederation Cup campaign, where he reached the finals, losing to Algerian side USM Alger.

Morrison also played a significant role in helping the Citizens to defend the Tanzanian Premier League title.

The former Heart of Lions and Ashantigold SC player has previously played for South African giants Orlando Pirates, Congolese side AS Vita Club, and Simba SC, bitterest rivals of Young Africans.
