Haaland machine keeps Norway in the race

Scorer, Erling Haaland allowed Norway to win 2-1 against Georgia.

Erling Haaland scored his 25th goal in 26 caps to help Norway win 2-1 against Georgia on Tuesday and maintain their chances of qualifying for Euro 2024.

The 23-year-old striker scored in the 25th minute before captain Martin Odegaard doubled the lead eight minutes later as the home side dominated the match at Oslo’s Ullevaal Stadium.

After five matches, Norway are third in the group, eight points behind leaders Scotland and two points behind Spain, who have played a game less.
