Hundreds join Jomoro MP in the West FM-Charger Limited health walk

Hundreds of locals from the Western Region’s Jomoro Constituency attended the annual health walk organised by West FM in Elubo in partnership with Charger Limited, the makers of Black Legend Coffee Gin.

The walk is an annual event that aims to promote community, good health, and harmony among inhabitants.
It also contributes to people’s socialisation.

The 10th iteration of the walk on Friday drew hundreds of citizens, including Kumawood actor Akwasi Boadi, nicknamed Akrobeto.

The stroll began at West FM’s courtyard and finished at Elubo Town Park.

Despite the fact that parliament closed very late on Thursday, August 3, 2023, because it was the last day of rising for the break, the Member of Parliament for Jomoro Constituency, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, did not want to miss the 10th edition and thus drove through the night to join her constituents for such a memorable occasion in the early hours of Friday.

At the end of the walk, there were exercises and presentations to educate locals on the importance of staying healthy and socialising.

The MP, Dorcas Affo-Toffey told the crowd that alcohol is meant for those who are above 18-years and even then, such people should drink responsibly to avert any social vices.

She said advised the youth on the need to keep themselves healthy since health is wealth.
