'Most Of Niger Is Not Electrified While Their Uranium Is Electrifying France And Europe' - Dr Quao

A Former Permanent Representative to the African Union Mission in Washington, Dr. Arikana Chihombori Quao has alleged that most of the places in Niger are not electrified while their uranium resources is being used to power France and Europe. She said in an interview with Arise Tv news that it's unbelievable that Niger is the second poorest Nation in the World despite possessing huge National resources.

She said, ''The whole thing is mind boggling, that over so many years and this is 2023, the leaders in Africa have been unable to handle the agreement that was put in place with the African countries when given their independence. It is unbelievable that you can have a country like Niger to be the 2nd poorest country in the first world and yet all their resources are going to France. Most of Niger is not electrified while their Uranium is electrifying France and Europe. It's at every level and it's unacceptable.''
