On the UPSA-UGBS stretch, armed robbers assassinate a master's student.

Police carry the body of a victim in a bag

Tuesday night saw a tragic event when a University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) master's student was killed in a robbery.

Around 9:00 p.m., the student was allegedly attacked by thieves operating on the UPSA-UGBS section of the Legon-Madina route while he was making his way back from class.

The robbers forced him onto the road as a result of his escalating resistance to their advances.

Sadly, he was instantly killed when a car that was traveling at high speed struck him.

Students' concerns about the insufficient security measures on that specific stretch, particularly during late hours, have been brought up by the occurrence.

Students are calling attention to the area's lack of security guards, traffic signals, and street lighting.

The Master's student has left the University community, and other students are utilizing social media to draw attention to this matter from authorities when they are in sorrow.

Students are speaking out in favor of better infrastructure and security on the Legon-Madina road.
