Three nurses, police officers assaulted in attack at Gomoa Potsin polyclinic

Outraged Gomoa Dominse locals stormed the Potsin Polyclinic, setting off a violent episode that left three nurses and two police officers assaulted.

The attack was brought on by the death of a 35-year-old man named Ato, who was admitted to the clinic after passing away on Thursday morning after falling at home about 5:00 p.m. the night before.

Gomoa Dominguese locals were incensed by the circumstances surrounding Ato's death, and they accused the clinic personnel of not complying with their demands to release the deceased's body in accordance with the correct protocols.

More than 200 angry protestors attacked the building, shattering O.P.D. computers and damaging a glass door, flatscreen TV, weighing scale, and water basins.

An eyewitness named Kojo Poku stated that he was able to seal the wards to stop additional damage.

The angry locals made an effort, but they broke into the cold room and took the dead person's body without following the correct procedures.

The medical superintendent, Dr. Jerry Vlad-Nkegbe, stated that the culprits threatened to find the staff members at home, which caused dread and panic among them.

Police have taken over the facility to protect people and property in response to the rapidly worsening scenario.
