VIDEO: Hundreds Of People Storm The Venue For Chef Faila’s Cookathon To Celebrate Her As She Ends

The Modern City Hotel in Tamale, or more specifically, the city, is currently ablaze due to Chef Faila's cookathon's triumphant conclusion.

With drums and songs, a hundred people have gathered at the hotel to celebrate her amazing culinary adventure.

To honor Chef Faila for proving that she is, in fact, a tenacious warrior, the town's residents are currently putting on a show that showcases their rich cultural heritage through drumming, singing, dancing, and horseback riding.

After an incredible 10-day marathon, Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak, also fondly known as Chef Faila, formally ended her historic cook-a-thon.

Although it was originally intended to be a five-day project, it turned into something completely different and culminated in an unprecedented 10-day culinary event that amounted to 227 hours of nonstop cooking.

On January 1, 2024, Chef Faila set out on this adventure with the goal of breaking a new Guinness World Record.

But as the days went by, she proved not only to be a skilled chef but also to have unshakeable tenacity that went above and beyond her original aim.

Many were startled to see that she had extended the cook-a-thon to an astounding 10 days, especially because she appeared to be getting stronger every day. This was made possible by her unwavering energy and commitment to shattering stereotypes in the culinary industry.

Despite assurances from the medical team and the chef herself, on the ninth day of their voyage, Chef Faila's husband, Captain Reginald Agyei, hinted that she was going to die today, January 10, 2024.

All I care about is her safety. She shouldn't overstress herself, in my opinion. I've certainly trained officers and all because I'm an officer. Thus, Captain Agyei said, "I am aware of the point at which, once you pass it, we won't be leaving. We are calling it quits as of right now, I can state with authority. She is doing fine. She is prepared to carry on. He said to Gh One TV, "The medical staff is saying she's okay, but the team myself, we think it's enough."

As her spouse, Captain Reginald Agyei, had hinted, Chef Faila concluded her culinary adventures this morning at approximately 11:00 AM, having spent an amazing 227 hours preparing more than seventy delectable delicacies.

The entire crowd erupted in ovation for Chef Faila just as the clock reached the zero hour, and the military authorities present saluted her.
