FOPAM-GIJ's First-ever PR Measurement and Evaluation Seminar set for today

The Faculty of Public Relations, Advertising, and Marketing at UniMAC-GIJ is preparing to host its inaugural PR Measurement and Evaluation Seminar on July 27th. The event will be held at the Institute's new campus in Dzorwulu and will focus on the theme "From Data to Insights: Demonstrating Value through Measurement and Evaluation." Participants can look forward to gaining a comprehensive understanding of PR measurement and evaluation practices and their role in achieving excellence in the field.

Renowned experts from the PR industry will be part of the seminar, including Mawuko Afadzinu, President of IPR-Ghana; Professor Isaac Blankson, President of the African University College of Communications (AUCC); Ms. Betty Alouch Buyu, Public Relations Manager for Gold Crest Refinery Limited; Akosua Kwafo Ogyiri, Communication and Media Manager for WaterAid Ghana; Johna Burke, Global AMEC Managing Director, and Professor Daniel Du Plessis from the University of South Africa.

The discussions during the seminar will center around the concept of measurement and evaluation in public relations. The experts will explore measurement and evaluation techniques beyond traditional teachings and delve into the relevance of Advertising Value Equivalencies (AVEs) in PR, shedding light on its implications for assessing PR success. The seminar will highlight the significance of measurement and evaluation in demonstrating and driving value in PR campaigns.
