Kutu Acheampong’s last favorite meal before his execution; What food was it

There is a story of a daughter playing her part when her father was being held in prison, ahead of his execution, and bringing him one of his favorite foods the night before.

It was as if to say that before he takes a bow from this life, she wanted him to at least have a last taste of that favorite food.

That was how the daughter of Colonel Ignatius Kutu Acheampong treated her father to a last meal of fufu ahead of his execution by firing squad.

Acheampong’s last meal:

The night before the execution, the 25-year-old daughter of IK Acheampong, Elizabeth Acheampong, sent him fufu.

His last words to his daughter were, “Tell everybody I was a good man and pray for me.”
