WATCH: Wife of popular Ghanaian pastor slaps church elder over offertory

CCTV footage of a woman identified as Reverend Anthony Kwadwo Boakye's wife allegedly slapping an elder of his husband's church has gone viral.

It was reported in November 2021 that the founder of the Resurrection Power New Generation Church had suffered a stroke, rendering him crippled and bedridden.

His wife addressed the congregation and debunked the rumors, clarifying that her husband was only taking a break from his ministry after 19 years for health reasons.

Sofo Maame Boakye has been in charge of affairs, including the church's finances, since then, possibly until her husband returns.

However, new surveillance footage that has gone viral shows, Mrs. Boakye, slapping one of the church's hierarchies in the face during a dispute over offertory.
