2 Brothers Arrested For Murder

Two brothers and their four accomplices who are accused of murdering a burglar they caught stealing from their colleague's car in Epworth, Harare, have appeared in court.

After discovering the dead stealing from their friend's vehicle, Elfas and Ernest Mapwanya, Tafadzwa Mafoshoro, Shamiso Madhishi, Trevor Matambudziko, and Philani Nkala allegedly assaulted him.

After realizing that the victim was severely injured, the six suspects allegedly dropped him near a hospital.

The court heard that the deceased was transported home by a Good Samaritan, where he was found dead later.

Six individuals were remanded to jail.

A 23-year-old guy who allegedly took his uncle's handgun appeared in court on charges of theft of a firearm.

When he appeared in court on Monday, Lewis Hlahla was remanded to detention.

The defendant is said to have visited his 78-year-old, solitary uncle.

The accused is accused of taking advantage of the circumstance and stealing the firearm from the gun cabinet.

After the suspect had left the house, his uncle discovered that the gun was missing.
