A Teenager Boy Brutally Stabbed To Death By His Own Mother

Police said a teenage boy, aged 13, was BRUTALLY stabbed to death by his OWN mother in Volksrust.

THE TEENAGE BOY WAS FOUND IN A POOL OF BLOOD

The mother also stabbed the teenager’s eight-month-old sister and his grandmother in the attack.

The incident happened on Friday evening.

It is not yet known what caused the mother to lose it completely.

THE TEENAGER WAS STABBED IN HIS THROAT AND CHEST
According to police spokesperson Colonel Donald Mdhluli, police responded to reports of a fight at a house.

“Police had to break the locked door to gain entry. Once inside, they discovered the body of the teenager lying in a pool of blood on the floor of the lounge.

“The boy had a visible stab wound on the chest and on his throat.”

An injured grandmother who was stabbed in the lower body was found hiding in the toilet.

THE INJURED GRANDMOTHER WAS FOUND HIDING IN THE TOILET
Police found the mother in a room along with the injured eight-month-old baby girl. The baby was also stabbed.

The 36-year-old mother was arrested and charged with the murder as well as two counts of attempted murder.

“The mother is due to appear in the Volksrust District Court on Monday, 10 October 2022.”

THE MOTHER WAS CHARGED WITH MURDER AND TWO COUNTS OF ATTEMPTED MURDER

The Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Lieutenant General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela, strongly condemned the incident.

She urged members of the public to seek professional help whenever they come across challenges and life issues so that such horrific incidents can be prevented.
