The Ghana Health Service (GHS) recently said that all travellers were no longer had to undergo pre-departure testing and testing at all points of entry due to Covid-19.

The COVID-19 Health Declaration Form for overseas travelers had been suspended, according to the GHS.

This came about after the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 to no longer be a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) on May 5, 2023.

In relation to the IMF programme, Mr Akufo-Addo is expected to clarify his comment on whether or not Ghana would go to the capital market to borrow following the deal.

This was on the heels of a comment he made at the 3rd Qatar Economic Forum that Ghana would soon return to the capital market to borrow, a comment that raised concern among analysts in Ghana.
