After defeating Switzerland in their final match, Ghana's U17 squad, the Black Starlets, earned their third consecutive victory at the UEFA U16 Development Tournament in Serbia.
Ghana won the tournament after going undefeated thanks to their victory over Switzerland.
Ramsey Asumadu's two goals and Bosman Debrah's goal gave the two-time world champions a 3-2 victory over Switzerland.
After winning all three games, the Black Starlets were declared the winners of the four-nation tournament held in the European nation.
The team got off to a fast start in the competition by defeating Serbia, the tournament's host nation, 4-0 with a hat-trick from Benjamin Tsivanyo.
After defeating Spain in their second game, Karim Zito and his team made it two wins in a row.
The Black Starlets managed to hold on and win 3-2 despite being down to nine men in the second half.
The championship was won by the West African superpower today with a victory over Switzerland.
