Companies and brands should remove Sarkodie as their brand ambassador because he is not a good role model - Sally Mann-Frimpong

A controversial commentator has ignited a heated debate by advocating for the revocation of all of Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie's endorsement agreements.

Mann's call is in response to allegations that Sarkodie left Yvonne Nelson alone at the hospital during a difficult time.

Mann expressed her disapproval of Sarkodie's alleged actions on Power FM.

"You left another person's daughter at the hospital to undergo an abortion in your name?

What was he contemplating? She inquired

According to the entertainment expert, his actions disqualified him from being anyone's idol or role model, and he insisted that he should be held accountable for his actions.

"I am advocating that all endorsement agreements Sarkodie has be revoked, and the reason I am doing so is because he abandoned Yvonne Nelson at the hospital on that very day.

This alone disqualifies him from being an idol for anyone, she argued.

Sally Mann questioned what might have transpired if Nelson's condition had deteriorated or if she had experienced complications to bolster her argument.

"What if Yvonne Nelson passed away?

He should offer Yvonne Nelson an apology.

She fumed, "He should apologize for abandoning her at the hospital."

Mann drew additional parallels to incidents involving international personalities such as Chris Brown, Tiger Woods, and T.I.

She noted that endorsement agreements were revoked in these instances due to their controversial actions or legal issues.

When Chris Brown defeated Rihanna, he lost all of his endorsements.

She stated that T.I. was stripped of his endorsement agreements for drug possession.

Sally Mann's remarks follow the publication of Yvonne Nelson's riveting memoir, I AM NOT YVONNE NELSON, in which the actress disclosed that her liaison with Sarkodie resulted in pregnancy, but he refused to accept responsibility and asked her to abort it.

She wrote, "On a typical day, I would have laughed out loud, which would have prompted a series of jovial conversations and quips.

Her memoir provides readers with an intimate comprehension of her journey and the lessons she has acquired.

However, since its publication, the most discussed aspect of the book has been her relationship with Sarkodie and how he abandoned her at the abortion clinic.
