A senior Ethiopian official stated that heavy armament was used to attack Ethiopia's embassy in Sudan's capital, Khartoum.
There were no injuries from Tuesday's attack, but the embassy was partially damaged, according to Yibeltal Ayimiro Alemu, Ethiopia's ambassador to Sudan.
Sudanese paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), which has been fighting the army since April 15, has blamed the attack on the army.
The Sudanese army has made no remark.
The Ethiopian embassy in Khartoum has been assaulted previously.
According to an employee of the Ethiopian embassy in Sudan, the embassy was assaulted by an air strike three weeks ago. According to the staff member, a security guard was injured and glass were shattered.
According to the UN, over 5,000 people have died and five million have been displaced as a result of the fighting.
