Ghana’s ambulance is not being sold in Dubai – Ambulance Service

The National Ambulance Service has denied claims making the rounds on social media that a government of Ghana ambulance is being auctioned in Dubai.

According to the Service, the ambulance that was depicted in the documentary is one of several ambulances that the Ghanaian government is acquiring with help from the World Bank and the Ministry of Health.

This ambulance will be delivered to Ghana very soon, according to a statement released by the Service on May 29.

The National Ambulance Service has been aware of a trending social media video showing an ambulance in Dubai that is allegedly for sale in Ghana and belongs to the government of that nation.

"We would like to note that the ambulance in question is one of the 26 Toyota Hiace Ambulances being procured by the Government of Ghana through the Ministry of Health and being funded by the World Bank.
