Mainoo's excellent talent and promise on United's prestigious youth squad are recognized by this prize.

Mainoo is focused on making an impression on manager Erik Ten Hag during the next preseason and is keen to take advantage of the chance to do so.

However, it's commonly believed that a loan transfer could be Mainoo's best chance to secure regular playing time in the first team. This strategic move would contribute to his ongoing development and growth as a player.

Mainoo was born in Stockport to Ghanaian parents and has represented England at U-17, U-18 and U-19 respectively.

The 18-year-old signed his first professional in May last year, but has yet to make an appearance for Manchester United’s first team.
