Governing Councils play critical role in education dev’t in the country – Prof. Jinapor

Prof Ahmed Jinapor, Deputy Director General of the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (G-TEC), has described the roles of members of Colleges of Education Governing Councils as critical and urged them to work hard to positively impact the country's education development.


He stated that they must focus on their mandate and guarantee that their Colleges become centers of excellence in teacher education in the country.


Prof. Jinapor declared this in his welcome address on Friday, September 15, when he launched a three-day workshop for the Sunyani zone of the Sunyani Governing Councils of Colleges of Education.
