Gruzah Releases List Of 14 Okraku Family & Friends Appointed To Juicy Posts By GFA Boss

From the Head of Marketing at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to the Manager of GFA Facilities to the Team Manager of the Black Stars to the Chief of Staff at the GFA and other Black Satellites officials, President of the GFA Kurt Okraku has been accused of packing the GFA with his close family and friends from Dreams FC.

This, according to his detractors, has deprived the FA of the opportunity to utilize equally talented, if not superior, personnel to accomplish success for Ghana Football.

The list of salacious family and friend appointments made by the FA under the administration of Kurt Okraku includes his wife, sisters, old school friends, and Dreams FC associates.

Mr. Okraku resigned as the Executive Chairman of Dreams FC after seven years of service in order to become the new president of the Ghana Football Association.

He was elected at the College of Surgeons in Accra, beating out five other candidates, including George Afriyie, George Ankamah, Amanda Clinton, Fred Pappoe, and Nana Yaw Amponsah.

Since his election, according to his critics, he has filled the majority of critical positions in the FA with his associates and friends from Dreams FC, and in some cases, his sister.

Fawaz Gruzah, son of King Faisal financier Alhaji Karim Gruzah, released a list of relatives and acquaintances, claiming that nepotism and discrimination against Kurt Okraku are not mere allegations but facts.

"When we say Kurt E. S. Okraku is operating the GFA as a family and friends association, people assume we don't like him and are fabricating stories against him because of this. We want them to come and deny his family and associates the following positions."

Mr. Gruzah released the following roster of 14 individuals as FA family and friend employees under Kurt Okraku:

The sister of Kurt Okraku, Winifred Mawudeko Okraku, is the current Director of the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence.

David Alifoe, Head of Marketing at Dreams FC and sibling of Dreams FC director Mohammed Jiji Alifoe, is the new Deputy Director of the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence.

Ameenu Shardow, the General Manager and Administrative Head of Dreams FC, is now the Black Stars' Team Manager.

Theresa Nelly Mensah, formerly the Financial Officer for Dreams FC, is now the Welfare Officer for Black Maidens.

5. Ibrahim Dosey Adam, former team manager of Dreams FC, is now Black Satellite's welfare officer.

Michael Osekere, a close associate and confidant of Kurt Okraku, is the GFA's Chief of Staff.

7. Prosper Harrison Addo, a former classmate of Kurt Okraku, is now the GFA General Secretary.

The former Welfare Officer of Dreams FC, Malik Mumuni, is now the Equipment Officer for Black Starlets.

Daniel Yankey, Director of Proton Sports and Service (owned by Kurt Okraku), is now Black Stars' Equipment.

The former head coach of Dreams FC, Abdul Karim Zito, is now the coach of Black Satellites.

Haruna Seidu, previously the Masseur for the Dreams FC, is now the Equipment Officer for the Black Galaxies (Local Black Stars).

Coach of Dreams FC, Winfred Dormon, is now Assistant Coach of Black Starlet.

13. Jamal Maraby, a close friend and confidant of Kurt Okraku, is now the GFA's Director of Marketing.

Dr. Philemon Mensah, former head of medical services for Dreams FC, is now the team physician for Black Satellite.

Ama Brobbey Williams, a relative of Kurt Okraku, is currently the GFA's Head of Women's Football Development and Event Manager.
