‘I have learned a lot’ – Yaw Dabo on European tour

Yaw Dabo, a comedy actor from Ghana, has discussed the important things he took away from his recent journey to Europe, where he got the chance to visit illustrious football teams and rose to fame in Spain for his steadfast love of Real Madrid.

Following Real Madrid's highly-publicized 1-1 tie with Manchester City during his visit, Dabo, the proprietor of Dabo Soccer Academy, had the honor of being interviewed by the renowned Spanish sports publication Marca.

Prior to it, he paid trips to prestigious clubs like Dortmund, PSG, Ajax, and PSG, where he met Otto Addo, a former Black Stars coach.

Dabo acknowledged that his experience in Dortmund in particular had been quite enlightening. I gained a lot of knowledge, especially after I traveled there.

I attended a classroom session, thanks to Otto Addo who took me there. The knowledge he imparted to me was truly remarkable,” Dabo said, as reported by Ghanaweb.




He further shared, “Otto Addo showed me how to provide counselling to players after a match. Identifying their mistakes, areas for improvement, and creating specialized training programs to enhance their skills, including extensive use of video analysis. I discovered that becoming a star player requires rigorous training.”




Upon his return to Ghana, Dabo, 24, received a warm reception, marking the culmination of his enlightening European adventure.
