Joseph Bediako, convener of the Movement for Truth and Accountability, says he will go into exile if the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) receives 47% of the vote in the 2024 elections.
He claims that the Ghanaian people have rejected the NPP even before the election, and this will be evident in the 2024 election results.
"Even if you disregard the results in Assin North, anyone who has followed Ghanaian politics knows that the NPP has been shunned by the people.
Next year, I will predict that if the NPP receives 47% of the vote, I will spend two years in exile. Even if they resort to violence, they cannot obtain 47% of the vote in that election.
The Ghanaian populace has spurned the NPP. The political party no longer exists. They have no regard for individuals outside the political party.
They are my acquaintances, and I am familiar with them. "Their arrogance will affect them even further," he said.
Joseph Bediako predicted on Accra-based Happy Fm, which was monitored by MyNewsGh.com, that the NPP would cry after the Assin North election, and the people demonstrated to the NPP where the power rests.
