I’ll be your dependable partner – Akufo-Addo assures new Chief Justice at swearing-in

Following in the footsteps of Justice Georgina Theodore Wood and Sophia Akuffo, Justice Torkornoo will become the country's third female Chief Justice in its long and illustrious history.

She honored the accomplishments of the women who came before her by saying, "I am well aware that I stand on tall shoulders," which was part of her acceptance speech. "I am well aware that I stand on tall shoulders."
