I’m saving my award speech till I win the GMA UK Awards – Maya Blu

Maya Blu, an artist signed to Lynx Entertainment, has expressed her desire to win the GMA UK Awards for which she has been nominated, and her speech for the big night is currently being prepared.

Maya responded, "Actually, I just feel like slowing down a little bit for personal reasons," when asked why the energy she was known for at the outset of her career had diminished at some point. Nothing is troubling me; I'm having a great time."

The Ghanaian musician stated that her career is gradually gaining her recognition, and she views the entire journey as exciting. She hopes to win the "Undiscovered Artist of the Year" award at the Ghana Music Awards, UK, and will deliver an appropriate acceptance speech if she does.

"Currently, people are coming to know me, and I am also getting to know them. I'm gaining recognition and nominations. The trip is so much joy... (regarding her acceptance speech) "I'm saving it for when I finally win the GMA UK Award in October," she said with absolute confidence.

The singer went on to discuss her upcoming EP, noting that one of its singles that has been released in advance is creating waves.

"The EP 'Just Blue On It' contains five compositions. There are five excellent compositions on this album; you will enjoy it. There are love songs, danceable songs, and regular songs that everyone can groove to. "Talk Too Much" is on the EP, and it's already out; the visuals are stunning. In just nine days, the video has received over 500,000 views," she stated.

She continued, "We released 'Talk Too Much' before 'Sho' because 'Sho' was so successful and we want to keep people dancing. With the love songs, I want to demonstrate the other aspect of my singing ability. When you listen to "Antidote," "Owner," and even "Change Over," you will hear some excellent vocals.

Maya Blu concludes the discussion by explaining why she believes her music is doing so well in the Ghanaian music scene.

According to her, "I'm working hard and my team is supporting me." They are also working very hard to ensure that everything is in position. I cannot wait to see what the future holds."
