The arrested Manhyia-based police inspector fatally shot his fiancée Maa Adwoa six times for allegedly cheating on him and owing him GHC 5,000.

Inspector Ahmed's name has been on the lips of nearly all Ghanaians for the past two weeks, ever since the tragic news hit social media.

A new shocking report that has made headlines claims that Inspector Ahmed Twumasi's true name is Samuel Darko, also known as Sammy, and that he was a student teacher prior to joining the police force.

Inspector Twumasi may have used another person's information and credentials to acquire entry into the police force, according to a recent report.

The officer who purportedly shot and killed Maa Adwoa has been arrested.
This new'revelation' also reveals that Inspector Ahmed grew up in Nsuta, where he is extremely popular. His late mother served as a minister at Nusta Bethany Church.

In addition to the foregoing, Inspector Ahmed divorced his first wife, with whom he shares two children, after joining the police force.
