Level 300 UCC Law Student Found Dead At Her Hostel Room

A level 300 law student at the University of Cape Coast was discovered unresponsive in her dorm room.

On Thursday, April 20, 2023, Elizabeth was reportedly pronounced dead.

The sad news was communicated by the Faculty of Law in a statement dated 21 April 2023 and signed by the Dean.

"It is with a sorrowful heart that I inform you of the passing of Level 300 student and classmate Elizabeth Boateng. Yesterday, April 20, 2023, we were informed that she passed away in her hostel," the statement read.

"This is obviously a difficult period for everyone in the Faculty of Law. There is counseling available for all affected students. Those seeking such assistance should contact the office of the Dean of Students, who will direct them to the appropriate Counselling Centre staff member."
