Mahama to speak at the 2023 Korea Africa Business Summit

To attend the 2023 Korea-Africa Business Summit, the Korea-Africa Foundation invited the former president John Dramani Mahama to Seoul, South Korea.

The two-day summit's main address will be delivered by Mr. Mahama on May 25, 2023, the day of the African Union Day celebration.

The Korea-Africa Foundation describes the summit as a "valuable venue for enabling rich and in-depth discussion" on a number of important topics, including finance 4.0, innovation and youth entrepreneurship, trade, industrialization, energy, and resources.

As part of the Summit program, the Foundation will throw an Africa Night to remember the celebration of Africa Day.

As a subsidiary of the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Korea-Africa Foundation was created to provide a forum for cooperation between the private sector and also to strengthen exchange and cooperation with African countries.

President of the Foundation, Ambassador Woon-Ki Lyeo, says the Foundation considers President Mahama’s presence and participation “a steppingstone for ennobling the partnership between Ghana and Korea.”
